The menu at Tim Hortons generally stays the same. However, during special holidays, Tim Hortons breaks out the creative juices.

1. Valentine’s Day Specials

• BE Mine Donut: This donut is a heart-shaped donut filled with Boston Cream filling and dipped in chocolate fondant. It has red sugar sprinkled on the top, turning it into a glittery treat for loved ones.
• Red Velvet Muffin: The Red Velvet muffin is a red velvet muffin made with semi-sweet chocolate chips and cream cheese frosting and Tim Hortons love.
• Red Velvet Filled Cookie: The Red Velvet filled cookie has the delicate flavor of red velvet cake in the convenient shape of a cookie. Cream cheese greets the diner with every bite.
• Red Velvet French Vanilla: Tim Hortons warms more than your heart on Valentine’s Day. They serve French Vanilla hot beverage with a twist: red velvet syrup, whipped cream, and red velvet sugar sprinkled on top.
• Red Velvet Hot Chocolate: Tim Hortons does not leave out the chocolate. They also have a special hot chocolate at Valentine’s Day with the same red velvet syrup infused in the drink and red velvet sugar sprinkled over whipped cream.

The holiday season runs from late November to late December. Tim Hortons helps its customers celebrate with holiday flavors and their signature coffee.

• Peppermint and chocolate fuse perfectly with candy cane flavored white and regular hot chocolate to create the Candy Cane Hot Chocolate. Tim Hortons tops the drink with whipped topping and candy cane sprinkles.
• Gingerbread latte graces the Tim Hortons menu during the holiday season. Tim Hortons espresso with tangy gingerbread syrup topped with whipped topping.
• The Iced Capp takes on a new look during the holidays as the Gingerbread Iced Capp, for those Canadians who embrace the cold.
• Tim Hortons food menu takes on a new look at the holidays too. Timbits, the signature donut hole at Tim Hortons, is rolled in red sprinkles. Bakers then decorate the chocolate-dipped donut with two sugar eyes and chocolate antlers to create Holiday Bits. 
• If you do not like to eat things that look like reindeer, Tim Hortons has signature chocolate swiss rolls with vanilla cream over the holidays.
• Not everyone loves chocolate. Tim Hortons also has gingerbread muffins filled with cream cheese icing during the holiday season.
• If ginger has too much of a bite but you still love a spicy treat, Tim Hortons has a molasses filled cookie during the holidays as well.

3. Timbits

Timbits are Tim Hortons signature donut holes. Tim Hortons has dozens of flavors for their Tim bits including chocolate-glazed, jelly-filled, dutchie, honey dip, sour-cream-glazed, old-fashioned plain, old-fashion-glazed, blueberry, strawberry, raspberry, lemon, apple cider, orange-tangerine, creamy caramel, cherry cake, birthday cake, honey cruller, pumpkin spice, toasted coconut, and apple fritter.

Plus, Timbits come in packages of 10, 20, and 40.

4. Double – Double

When you order coffee at Tim Hortons, you can use the common method of asking for cream or sugar. Or you can just ask for a double-double.

A double-double refers to a two-cream, two-sugar coffee at Tim Hortons alone. In 2004, the Canadian Oxford dictionary included the double-double in their cache of words, making it even more valid.

5. Beyond Meat Sausage

In May 2019 Tim Hortons began testing plant-based sausage in their breakfast sandwiches. They followed the trend that the Burger King menu took on with the Impossible Whopper plant-based burger.

The following September Tim Hortons pulled their plant-based sausage from many of their menus. We do not automatically think “kid-friendly” when we think of plant-based meat. The decision to test relates to Tim Horton’s desire to put out healthy products alongside their treats.

Parents and kids can build their own meals as they select three entrees with one of four sides and one of five drinks.

Tim Hortons has joined forces with Kit Kat to offer special Kit Kat based treats. The Kit Kat Caramel-Filled Donut, a Kit Kat Chocolate Truffle Bar, a Kit Kat Iced Capp, a Kit Kat Hot Chocolate, and a Kit Kat Latte all have graced the menu at Tim Hortons.
